Job Description
My client are looking for an experience business developer /sales consultant to be responsible for driving my clients payment acceptance growth, through a direct to merchant sales approach, in key verticals within the UK (transport, hotels retail, airlines, restaurants) The role involves building and maintaining a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities, engagement with merchants to drive client acceptance take-up, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure the sales cycle is completed & is delivering key KPI’s in acceptance. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Candidates should have previous experience of selling to payment solutions to merchants ideally coming from a card payments background and previous experience at organisations like: Elavon, Worldpay, Global Payments, Ayden, Cardnet, Planet Payments, checkout, nuvei, barclaycard payments
Role is for 12 months. Hybrid (mostly remote - option to go perm for right candidate if good after proving themselves)
