To carry out all admin duties as requested. Always maintaining confidentiality and GDPR.

To be an ambassador for the Company.

The post requires you to have the ability to communicate in English to a very good standard over the phone and in person. You will need to show perspective residents around the home and have the confidence and forthcoming, so therefore will need the ability to work on their own initiative.

To have past relevant experience in a care setting or admin/reception role would be a benefit.

The candidate will need to be proficient with MS Excel/Word/Outlook, with good communication skills – oral & written.

As you will be required to assist with the following:

· Booking for future tours of the home on the calendar.

· Adding appointments to our transport calendar.

· Contracts.

· Assisting with a newsletter.

· Ad hoc duties when required, such as assisting with activities and breakfast.

Administrative/Reception Duties:

* Scheduling
* Carrying out requests from management as needed
* Answering emails
* Sorting post
* Taking in deliveries
* Answering phone calls and transferring them as necessary
* Greeting and welcoming visitors
* Ensuring the visitors lounge has supplies of Tea, coffee etc

Financial Duties:

* Processing payments

You will also be required to deal with residents & their families, regarding complaints/questions/requests, and be able to liaise with them on a professional and caring level.

Be able to always adopt a "Can do" attitude, to be caring, motivated and flexible and to be a Team Player.

Who are we? St Michaels Homes Ltd is a small family run business that has successfully run 2 care homes in Brentwood for Many years. The post will be within our new completed care home in Brentwood called Dudbrook House.

Remuneration Depending on length of relevant experience and qualification, our hourly rate of payment starts at £12.25 per hour. These rates of payment are regularly revised each year, and long service is awarded. We offer in house and off-site relevant training free of charge.

The candidate needs to be able to drive due to the location of the Care Home, free parking on site. Hours and days which need to be covered are Monday 8.30am to 6pm, Tuesday 8.30 to 3.30pm & Friday 8.30am to 6pm. We would also need the person to cover for annual leave and sickness of other reception staff.
