This UK-based manufacturer specialises in producing precision-engineered products made from stainless steel and high-value alloys used in demanding applications across the aerospace, medical, oil and gas, and nuclear energy industries.
Role
The Quality Director will be responsible for developing and implementing quality strategies, overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance, continuous improvement/LEAN methodologies, maintaining a strong trajectory of zero external defects and on-time delivery, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. The Quality Director will lead a talented team of quality and technical professionals.

We are looking for a strong Quality professional with a proven track record in managing a Quality function within a manufacturing or engineering business. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and knowledge in engineering, with significant experience in driving process improvements and fostering a robust quality culture backed by KPIs. This role also involves supporting the Global Commercial Director in NPI and customer relations. The candidate should be a driven and energetic leader, capable of effective communication across all levels and integrating quality into all aspects of the business. As a key part of the company’s talent pipeline and succession planning, the candidate should understand how the quality function contributes to overall growth and actively support business development efforts.
