You’ll work in a matrix organisation and report operationally through OMNIA Training and functionally through the Raytheon UK Ultimately, you’ll work for the British Army, championing innovation, and helping shape the future of military training.
Main Duties:
We are looking for a dynamic and high performing Change Programme Manager to join OMNIA Training to manage Change Management across the programme. This is a challenging role that will be highly rewarding and high profile. The role will require excellent interpersonal skills and high levels of energy and stamina. The role will involve communication and interfacing with customers and the project team
We are looking for someone with an ability to anticipate problems across a span of issues and work areas, and to overcome them. We need a person who can work within a close-knit team, with the confidence to communicate and express ideas, twinned with the humility to listen to other people’s ideas. We need an individual who has a firm foundation of Project Management understanding and experience, but who is willing to learn and who wants to be developed.
1. Manage Change Management within the programme, including logging and tracking changes.
2. Facilitate and manage regular change reviews and updates including various stakeholders
3. Identify risks, issues and opportunities within the changes and incorporate within overarching RAIDO process.
4. Manage the production of gate packs and where appropriate lead gate reviews
5. Contribute to the identification and delivery of enhancements to systems and processes.
6. Monitor Programme and Project progress and escalate issues that impact progress.
7. Sustain collaborative relationships with the Customer, Partners and across Raytheon.

You won’t necessarily have a military background, but you’ll understand what it means to serve and to put the mission first.

Essential:
Relevant, recent demonstrable experience of successful programme execution in a highly regulated and/or controlled environment Demonstrate and advocate Raytheon leadership behaviours A self-starting and capable manager, able to effect change through the matrix organisation, even where direct hierarchical control does not exist Supportive, with the character to navigate sensitive and pressurised situations to overcome delivery challenges Able to engage with technical experts with credibility and understanding Drive to create change and continuously improve performance Creative and open to innovation in order to solve problems
Desirable:
Degree qualified in a technical or project management related discipline, or with equivalent non-academic experience. A recognised project management qualification is highly desirable. Some experience of working within the defence industry or alongside an MOD customer. Working knowledge of project management software tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel and other relevant applications
