Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a key business and influential player in the global energy market. Responsibilities and duties of the Field Service Technician role
Reporting to the Field Service Team Leader you will:
* Ensure the best performance of large-scale renewable energy assets
* Perform operations and maintenance duties across the portfolio of solar and battery storage sites
* Ensure adherence to all HSE requirements when completing your duties
* Test both DC and AC systems, looking for faults and tracing issues
* Conduct firmware updates and use computer systems to look for issues with the assets
* Consistent inspection, maintenance and testing of the systems
* Looking for trends and using data analysis to see if you can spot any common trends and suggest ways to improve operations as a result
* Occasional assistance with tasks such as solar panel cleaning, some ground maintenance and site CCTV
* Occasional working way from your patch/area and be flexible to help when the business needs this
We are looking for someone with the following:
* At least a level 3 qualification in electrical installation
* 2391 test and inspection is hugely preferred
* Any health and safety qualifications are a benefit
* Full UK driving licence
