We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Telford that’s passionate about giving students the confidence to connect with the wider world. Languages aren’t just lessons here, they’re gateways to culture, opportunity, and fresh perspectives.
From your very first day, you’ll be part of a school where pupils are curious, behaviour is strong, and teachers are supported to do what they do best, inspire learning.
This role is about more than grammar and vocab lists. It’s about sparking that “aha!” moment, making languages relevant, and helping students see themselves as global citizens.
What’s on offer:
* A permanent MFL teaching role starting September 2025
* Pupils who are curious, ambitious, and ready to learn
* A collaborative, supportive department with shared planning
* Leadership that values creativity and innovation, not just outcomes
* Career development opportunities across a growing multi-academy trust
Who they’re looking for:
You’re an engaging MFL teacher (or ECT ready to begin your journey) with a flair for bringing languages to life. You can make grammar fun, culture relatable, and conversation practice feel natural. You set high standards but know how to keep things motivating and accessible.
If you’ve got ideas for international projects, exchange links, or extra-curricular clubs that add a spark of culture beyond the classroom — even better.
You’ll need:
* UK QTS or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge and a love for languages
* A creative, inspiring approach to teaching
* Commitment to helping pupils gain confidence in communication
