About the Practice
Eden Veterinary Centre is a forward-thinking small-animal practice on the edge of the Lake District. Just 30 minutes from fells, lakes, Hadrian’s Wall, and the Scottish Borders, the location offers professional fulfilment and outdoor adventure. In early 2026, the practice will move into a brand-new, purpose-built facility featuring:
* 2 theatres
* A dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray
* Imaging room with DR and ultrasound
* Full lab facilities
All designed to provide the best working environment while keeping a warm, friendly, small-practice feel. Our ethos: we treat every pet as if they were our own, make visits stress-free for animals and owners, and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive workplace where every team member has a voice.
The Team
You’ll be joining a motivated, supportive group of 5 vets, 6 RVNs, 1 student nurse, 1 animal care assistant, a practice director, and an experienced reception team. We’re proud to be a nurse training practice and actively encourage learning across roles. We have a surgical certificate holder and will soon be taking surgical referrals (soft tissue and orthopaedics), with investment in facilities and equipment to support further certificate holders.
