Job Description:
A well-established and highly recommended school in Berkshire is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Year. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the academic and pastoral care of a specific year group, ensuring that students receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the year group, providing support and guidance to both students and staff.
Monitor and track student progress, implementing interventions where necessary.
Develop and maintain effective communication with parents and guardians.
Foster a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Organize and oversee year group events, activities, and assemblies.
Collaborate with other Heads of Year and senior leadership to ensure consistency and continuity across the school.
Support the personal and social development of students, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
