Responsibilities:
Synchrony Rehab is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist Assistant to LEAD our Rehab team as Therapy Program Director at The Landings of Albemarle and Edenton House, a dynamic and innovative Senior Living Community located in Hertford and Edenton, NC.

Job Summary
The Therapy Program Director (PD) is responsible for directing clinical assessments, program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment across campus locations, home health, and outpatient care.
Ensures compliance with state licensure requirements, company policies, professional practices, and ethical standards. Contributes to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a collaborative environment.
Licenses and Certifications
Must hold and maintain a current, valid state licensure in the respective discipline
Current valid CPR certification,
Qualifications
Education: Degree in Physical/Occupational Therapy or Physical/Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in delivering skilled rehab services
Roles and Responsibilities
• Design and implement therapy programs and protocols aligned with the facility’s mission, goals, and standards of care.
• Supervise and mentor therapy staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor and evaluate therapy program effectiveness, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
• Manage resources including staffing, equipment, and budget to support therapy services.
• Organize ongoing training and professional development for therapy staff.
• Analyze data and outcomes to identify improvement areas and implement strategies.
• Deliver skilled rehab services within scope of credentials and/or license.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, stretch, stoop, walk, and move intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, family members, visitors, vendors, and all external business associates.
