Access Creative College is on the lookout for a GCSE Maths & English Lecturer to join our Plymouth Team. You will teach maths and English to young people engaged in creative programmes of study including music, media, games development, events and Esports. You will make maths and English relevant to our young people, through your inclusive lesson planning and delivery. You will mark and assess learner work, setting high expectations and motivating them to be the best that they can be. You will have an understanding of methods and good practice in reviewing and evaluating teaching & learning and behaviour management strategies. About you You will be a role model, providing learners with an exceptional educational experience that will enable them to maximise their potential. You will have up-to-date knowledge and an understanding of the GCSE Maths and English curriculum and experience with exam board requirements. You will hold GCSE Maths and English GCSEs at Grade 5 (or equivalent) or above and you will have a degree in a related subject. A successful track record of delivering GCSE maths and/or English would be the icing on the cake, however, this could be an ideal development opportunity for a newly qualified teacher or Maths/English graduate looking to get into teaching. You will work with experienced, passionate tutors as well as within a support service provided by our Central Team.
