Imaging Quality & Governance Lead Radiographer
Department: Imaging
Band: 8A, £55,690 - £62,682 per annum, pro rata
Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week. All MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working.
We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Quality & Governance Lead to join our imaging leadership and management team. The successful candidate will drive quality, safety and patient experience across imaging services and support accreditation and regulatory compliance (UKAS/QSI, CQC, IR(ME)R).
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate quality assurance programmes and governance across imaging services.
* Develop, implement and maintain governance frameworks in line with national standards and best practices.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and service delivery within new infrastructure.
* Provide managerial and professional clinical leadership within the department and oversee staff involved in quality and governance activities.
* Contribute to the strategic, operational and safe delivery of the imaging quality and governance programme.
* Design, provide and deliver policy related to quality and governance for imaging services.
About MKUH and the Role Context
Milton Keynes University Hospital is expanding to meet rising demand, with developments including a state-of-the-art Radiotherapy Centre and a Community Diagnostic Centre. The role supports expansion and accreditation within a growing diagnostic and imaging service.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Senior imaging management experience and leadership in quality and governance roles.
* Experience with regulatory and accreditation standards (UKAS/QSI, CQC, IR(ME)R) in imaging services.
* Ability to design and implement governance policies and lead cross-department teams.
