Do you already work as a carer but you are keen to take on additional responsibility supporting our care team with training and development and progress your own personal development. Or you maybe looking for extra hours that fit in with family life. We are looking for a senior night carer who wants to work with our lovely residents and staff team at the core of personal care, resident reviews, risk assessments and care planning. We are looking for someone and can be flexible based on personal commitments.
All we ask is that you put our residents at the heart of your care and support our residents to maintain their independence.
Responsibilities
1. To assist residents with all personal care needs including, undressing, washing, bathing and toileting needs.
2. To assist residents with mobility and other physical disabilities, including incontinence and help in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
3. To engage in the promotion of mental and physical well being of residents through talking to them, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreations.
4. To encourage residents to remain as independent as possible.
5. To enable and assist residents to maintain on a day to day basis as much autonomy and independence as possible.
