Brightwork are delighted to be supporting a key client in the appointment of a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or experienced finance professional to work in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment, providing high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and Finance Director, you will play a key role in supporting the business with accurate financial insight, with a particular focus on inventory control, variance analysis and month-end reporting. You will work closely with both finance and operational teams to ensure robust controls and effective financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory control, analysis and reporting
P&L variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
Month-end stock reconciliations and gross margin reporting
Preparation and delivery of key financial and transactional reports
Works order monitoring and performance analysis
Ensuring strong financial controls and accurate reporting
Liaising with internal stakeholders and external auditors
Supporting operational teams with financial data and insight
Banking, payments and cashbook reconciliations
Ad hoc project work and PPT returns
About You
Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent industry experience
Manufacturing experience desirable
Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Confident communicator, able to influence and support stakeholders
