We are looking for a Commercial Associate Director to join Apleona team
In this senior role, you will primarily lead month‑end reporting, strengthen commercial business partnering with Operations, and drive commercial betterment initiatives. You
will provide meaningful insights, ensure the accuracy of financial information, and support strategic decision‑making across client, contract, and division levels.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Lead and own month‑end reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate management accounts. Identify risks, issues, and trends, and provide clear commentary to senior stakeholders.
* Primary commercial business partner to operational teams. Provide clear commercial insight to Contract Managers, Operations Leads, and Directors to support informed decision‑making.
* Attend client and management meetings and present financial and commercial updates as required.
* Identify opportunities to improve operational and commercial efficiency, profitability, and cash flow. Deliver and track progress on commercial betterment initiatives across the business.
* Act as the Commercial Director’s deputy when required. Provide deep‑dive analysis, modelling, and scenarios to support strategic decisions. Assist in bid reviews, tender modelling when required.
* Support operational leads and Directors in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Drive ownership and accountability of budgets with operational stakeholders.
Qualifications and experience
▪ Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
▪ Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
▪ Track record in improving financial outcomes and supporting operational teams.
▪ Proven experience in a commercial or contract‑driven environment.
