This role manages the full end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll process for a busy, fast-paced operation of around 500 employees. You'll ensure accuracy, compliance, and excellent employee service while supporting continuous improvement within the HR/Payroll function.

Description
Manage end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll for c.500 employees
Process timesheets, mileage claims, overtime and payroll adjustments
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with legislation
Process starters, leavers, rate changes, deductions and AOE orders
Submit RTI, FPS, EPS and ensure timely PAYE payments
Produce payroll reports and reconcile pension contributions
Coordinate with HR, Finance, IT and operational managers
Respond to employee payroll queries with professionalism
Support year-end activities including P60s and P11Ds
Contribute to payroll process improvements and projectsProfile
Extensive end-to-end payroll experience (weekly + monthly)
Strong experience using SAGE Payroll and SAGE Accounts
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and numerical ability
Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines
Confident communicator with a helpful, approachable manner
Discreet and trusted to work with sensitive information
CIPP or AAT payroll qualifications desirable but not essentialJob Offer
