The Salvation Army is one of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations who provides specialist support to protect and care for all adult survivors of modern slavery in England and Wales through a government contract which was first awarded in. A new and extended contract came into force in January through which survivors of modern slavery are now entitled to support at all stages of their recovery.
We are looking for a highly motivated, meticulous and flexible Referrals Team Leader to support the delivery of the Modern Slavery Victim Care Contract. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the contract and the support services provided to vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide line management to a team of 10 Referral Officers and Administrative Assistants
2. Manage process workflows by monitoring volumes and work allocation, ensuring KPI’s are met and cases continue to be managed to the required standard
3. Produce reports and analyse management information
4. Facilitate and lead team meetings
5. Ensure all activities performed meet the minimum standards of our Quality Management Framework, adhering to ISO
6. Ensure operating manuals and procedures remain up to date
7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
8. Uphold data protection standards and ensure all records are maintained securely.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
9. Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team
10. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
11. Confidence in handling enquiries and providing high-quality customer service
12. Exceptional written and communication skills
13. People management experience in a similar team leader position
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
15. A keen eye for detail and accuracy
16. A proactive, can-do attitude with a drive to perform at a high standard
What would be beneficial:
17. Experience in the charity, voluntary, or community sector
18. Knowledge of the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) and how it supports victims of Modern Slavery
