We are currently looking for an experienced
Registered Childrens Home Manager
to lead and develop two of our homes in Wolverhampton: one two-bed home and one solo placement home.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational management, regulatory compliance, and overall quality of care in both homes. You will lead and support your care teams, ensuring that all children receive consistent, high-quality, and personalised care in line with their individual needs.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your experience, judgement, and dedication will directly shape the lives of the children in your care.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of two childrens homes (one two-bed, one solo home).
Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, safeguarding policies, and Ofsted requirements.
Lead, coach, and develop care teams to deliver exceptional child-centred care.
Oversee placement planning, risk assessments, and care planning for all young people.
Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, and other stakeholders.
Monitor and improve service quality, implementing changes as necessary.
Manage budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently across both homes.
Represent the homes during inspections, audits, and professional meetings.
About You
Proven experience as a registered manager in residential childcare.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and safeguarding standards.
Experience supporting children with EBD and LD.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple homes and teams while maintaining high standards.
Strong organisational skills and a solution-focused approach.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between homes and stakeholder meetings.
