Role OverviewAn established, claimant-focused law firm renowned for its personal injury and clinical negligence expertise is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing team. Working within a supportive, flexible environment, you’ll manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from instruction through to settlement, taking ownership of litigation strategy and client relationships.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
1. 3–6 years’ PQE in claimant clinical or medical negligence litigation.
2. Proven ability to manage a full caseload of litigated files independently.
3. Strong drafting and negotiation skills, including experience with LoC, witness statements, and Part 35 questions.
4. Confident handling expert evidence and cost control (Precedent H, Part 36).
5. Excellent client communication and empathy skills.
6. Commercial awareness and sound judgment when balancing risk and value.
7. Team player with a collaborative, proactive approach.
