Job Description
3. Assist in the implementation of daily activities and routines, including playtime, meal times, and nap times.
4. Maintain a clean and organised environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
5. Support children in their personal, social, and emotional development through positive interactions and engagement.
6. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
7. Assist with diaper changing, toilet training, and personal hygiene routines as needed.
8. Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
9. Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences and activities.
10. Follow established policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and confidentiality.
11. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursery Manager or Supervisor.
The Successful Applicant
13. Previous experience working with young children preferred.
14. Basic understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
15. First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
17. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
18. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
19. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
20. Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the nursery environment.
