Overview
We are seeking a female care assistant in the Ballymoney/Kilrea area with access to a car to work part-time. These shifts will be Mon-Fri, 7am to 2pm.
Qualifications
* Experience: Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.
* Communication Skills: Strong spoken and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively.
* Drivers License: A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
* Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends.
* Access NI: An enhanced disclosure check will be performed for the post; we adhere to the Access NI code of practice.

Your Key Responsibilities
Personal Care
* Support with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming and toilet
* Assist with mobility and safe transfers in and out of beds etc
* Use of mobility aids when required
Health & Medication Support
* Assist with medication: administration or reminders as prescribed
* Support with feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
Emotional & Social Support
* Offer companionship
* Encourage social interaction and help clients stay connected with loved ones
* Provide reassurance and emotional wellbeing
Domestic Assistance
* Help with light household tasks including; cleaning, laundry and meal prep
* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Communication & Documentation
* Record and report changes in health, mood, or behaviour
* Communicate clearly with family members, healthcare professionals, and other team members
Personal Advocacy
* Empower individuals to make choices and decisions about their care
* Ensure clients rights and dignity are upheld at all times
