The role of the Assistant Site Manager is to be responsible to the Site Manager for the on-site management and delivery of the specified works to time and budget, in a safe and effective manner. They will liaise with QS, H&S, ISO, technical, and other managers within the company to ensure project delivery.

Role Responsibilities:
1. Assist with management of specified works and workforce to meet productivity levels, deadlines, and budgets.
2. Assist with managing the delivery of works to programme and communicate requirements to the workforce, supporting their sections of the programme.
3. Assist with coordinating labour and material requirements across site teams for efficient resource use.
4. Liaise with project manager/QS/buying department to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials; monitor site requirements and documentation.
5. Build and maintain relationships with key client staff, stakeholders, funders, and third parties.
6. Take full ownership of all aspects of management within your remit.
7. Understand the scope and manage resources to deliver works on time and within budget.
8. Maintain all relevant information to support delivery, communicating effectively with the workforce.
9. Ensure quality standards, programme, and contract requirements are met and communicated.
10. Keep accurate records of all aspects of the works, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
11. Coordinate with project management and commercial teams to manage sub-contractors, orders, budgets, and costs.
12. Work with Health & Safety to ensure delivery of H&S plans, risk assessments, and related documentation.
13. Collaborate with ISO and Design & Quality departments for service and product delivery management.
14. Work with resident liaison and customer service to address residents' issues satisfactorily.
15. Monitor workforce performance and implement objectives and action plans.
16. Address contractor and sub-contractor issues promptly.
17. Participate in site and management meetings regularly.
18. Stay updated with industry regulations, H&S legislation, and company procedures.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Technical ONC or equivalent qualification/experience in construction-related discipline.
2. QCQA certification is essential.
3. Experience within cladding/facades sectors.
4. Completion or ongoing pursuit of a relevant NVQ in construction.
5. CSCS card.
6. SSTS certification is beneficial.
7. EWI experience is advantageous.
8. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
9. Knowledge of industry regulations and H&S legislation.
10. Willingness to undertake necessary training.
11. Driving license and personal vehicle are beneficial.
