About the Role:
We currently have a brilliant opportunity for an Payroll Administrator to join our Group Payroll team. Whether you're early in your career or looking to break into Payroll, this role offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within a fast-paced team.
Day-to-day, you will work as part of a dynamic team of 8, assisting in the preparation and accurate processing of payroll for up to 2,500 educators weekly. This is a fantastic chance to develop new skills and contribute to a critical business function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the accurate and efficient processing of weekly payroll for up to 2,500 educators.
* Meet set targets to ensure the smooth processing of payroll.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the business to manage payroll data flow.
* Maintain accurate payroll and educator records.
* Address and manage payroll-related queries in a proactive and professional manner.
* Support team members and provide cover when necessary.
* Process BACS and FPS payments as required.
About You:
You will have:
* Prior experience in a Payroll role and processing payrolls, ideally on a Weekly basis.
* Strong attention to detail and will be numerate.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Confidence in taking initiative and working to tight deadlines to achieve results.
* The ability to work well in a team, and to build strong relationships with colleagues.
Familiarity with Payroll law and HMRC compliance would be advantageous.
