OVERVIEW
I run a Toronto FC YouTube channel. I will provide the full scripts. I'm looking for a reliable Editor-Producer who can take my scripts and deliver a complete, voiceover-only video package: voiceover recording + editing + captions + thumbnail.
BUDGET: $40 per week (total) for all work
WHAT YOU'LL DO
•Record voiceover from my provided script (English)
•Edit voiceover-only sports videos (B-roll, still images, simple motion graphics, stat cards, lineup/formation cards)
•Add on-screen text and strong hooks (first 5–10 seconds must be punchy)
•Create accurate captions (SRT + burned-in captions for Shorts if needed)
•Design thumbnails (1280×720) in a consistent style (editable Canva/PSD required)
CONTENT TYPES + VOLUME
•Target cadence (toned-down): 1 Long video + 4 Shorts per matchweek (varies with schedule)
•Long videos: 15-20 minutes
•Shorts: 20–60 seconds (9:16)
TURNAROUND (TORONTO / ET TIMEZONE)
•Preview Long: delivered 24–48 hours before kickoff
•Breaking news Shorts: same day (3–6 hours ideal)
•Post-match reaction Short: within 1–2 hours after final whistle
•Next-morning Short: by 9–10am ET
If you can't consistently hit matchday windows, this won't be a fit.
STYLE REQUIREMENTS (RETENTION)
•Pattern interrupt every 8–12 seconds (text pop, stat card, image change)
•Big, readable text; one idea per screen
•Modern sports graphics (lineup card, "3 Key Points," Keep/Sell cards)
•Avoid slow intros and long static shots
IMPORTANT (FOOTAGE / COPYRIGHT)
We want a safe approach: prioritize licensed b-roll, stadium/city clips, still images, press photos where permitted, and custom graphics. Avoid heavy use of broadcast match footage.
DELIVERABLES
For Long videos:
•Final MP4 (1080p)
•VO audio WAV (44.1k/48k)
•SRT captions
•Thumbnail 1280×720 + editable source file (Canva/PSD)
For Shorts:
•Final MP4 (1080×1920)
•Burned-in captions + optional SRT
•Hook text in first 1–2 seconds
•Optional thumbnail if requested
TOOLS / SKILLS
•Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve (any is fine)
•Comfortable building simple graphics (Canva/Photoshop/AE)
•Sports editing experience strongly preferred
•Soccer knowledge is a plus (not required)
