We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Night Porter at the Holiday Inn London-Luton Airport. Key Accountabilities: Ensure all department and guest health, safety, and security procedures are followed, and training is completed. Complete all company and brand training. Comply with statutory and company requirements related to money and key handling, credit procedures, health and safety, fire safety, and employment legislation. Ensure all guests receive a high standard of service at reception, the bar, in the restaurant, and from room service during night hours. When required, ensure company and brand standards for check-in and check-out procedures are followed. Be fully conversant with the facilities, services, and promotions offered by the hotel and brand, and whenever appropriate, offer this information to guests. Ensure IHG members are recognized and receive their benefits. Deliver and collect guest luggage to and from bedrooms. If required, ensure all the night audit procedures are completed to the standards required by the company. Prepare and serve any late-night refreshments while following all food safety and allergen procedures. Carry out guest wake-up calls. Collect Room Service breakfast door hangers and Greener Stay hangers, and take appropriate action as necessary. Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet following all food safety procedures. Ensure all meeting rooms are set up as required. Carry out any housekeeping requirements as necessary, following the IHG Way of Clean procedures. Perform floor and car park walks with any follow-up actions to ensure the property is well presented. Remove waste from containers and dispose of it properly. Carry out any other reasonable requests or projects by the hotel’s General Manager to improve the business.
