Controls & Electrical Design Engineer
A well‑established UK automation specialist at the forefront of industrial automation is looking to recruit a Controls & Electrical Design Engineer. You will support the design and delivery of advanced inspection and automation systems used by blue‑chip manufacturers worldwide.

The Role
* Design electrical panels and control systems using AutoCAD Electrical
* Produce schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical documentation
* PLC and HMI programming and system integration for industrial automation machinery
* Support system commissioning and testing, both in‑house and at customer sites
* Work closely with mechanical, controls, and applications engineering teams
* Assist with electrical build, fault‑finding, and problem‑solving during manufacture
The Person
* 3+ years' experience in electrical design within industrial automation
* Strong AutoCAD Electrical experience
* PLC programming knowledge. Siemens and/or Allen Bradley
* Good understanding of machinery safety and industrial control systems
* Logical, organised, and able to work to project deadlines
* Electrical Engineering qualification. Degree desirable
* Knowledge of robotics or machine vision advantageous
