My client, one of the UK's fastest growing PE-backed property businesses, are looking to hire a technically strong Finance Manager to join their brand new offices in South Manchester.
The Finance Manager will take ownership of a growing sub-group, overseeing the consolidation whilst managing a team of 3. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping financial strategy and control in a dynamic business. What you'll do:
1. Lead preparation of group consolidations and cash flow statements in accordance with IFRS
2. Oversee the onboarding of new assets and the accounting for newly created legal entities
3. Monitor and manage debt compliance, liaise with lenders, and oversee covenant reporting
4. Collaborate with the treasury team to manage cash flow and forecasting
5. Take ownership of the annual reporting and audit process across the group
6. Develop and enhance internal controls and ensure accuracy of financial data
7. Oversee VAT, CIT returns, and liaise with tax advisors where necessary
