Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging PE lessons to students from KS3 to KS5.
* Develop a curriculum that encourages physical fitness, teamwork, and personal growth through sports and physical activities.
* Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback to promote improvement.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
* Organize extracurricular activities, such as school sports teams, competitions, and fitness events, to promote an active lifestyle.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the PE department and across the school to share best practices and support school-wide initiatives.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and achievements.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
* A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* Proven experience teaching PE at secondary school level, including KS3 and KS5.
* Strong knowledge of sports, fitness, and physical education practices.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
* A passion for physical education and student development.
