Applications are invited for a Clinical Support Worker to join our busy Speech & Language Therapy (SLT) Service. You will work as part of the Speech and Language Therapy team in Ninewells Hospital.
The successful applicant will work alongside the current support worker across the wards in Ninewells hospital supporting the small SLT team. Duties will include taking patient case histories, carrying out therapy programmes, oral care, administative and cleaning duties. The postholder will be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to manage and prioritise their workload.
Applicants should have a relevant qualification or proven relevant experience.
An active in-service training programme is in place both within the local base and the Tayside SLT Service. Personal and Professional Development is structured via the TURAS appraisal system.
You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.
