The opportunity
The Senior Project Manager plays a key part in leading and executing of major transformerprojects ranging from tendering through to final closureofprojects.
Location, Stone (Remote) with travel to UK sites

How you’ll make an impact
1. Support the TenderingEngineersand giveassistancein the order pursuit process (helping to develop capture and execute strategy) - achieve clarity of expectation throughout the demand and supply chain.
2. Deliver safe, on-timeand to-budget delivery of the project, keeping all stakeholders positively engaged and updated on project performance.
3. Effectively manage changes in the scope (and the associated commercial aspects) driven by client, internally or the supply chain tomaximiseHITACHI ENERGY’s contractual position.
4. RepresentHITACHI ENERGYin all key project deliverymeetingsi.e.the principlepointof contract with the client and all stakeholders for the project.
5. Recognise customer requirements andmanage their expectations at all timesto ensure customer satisfaction at point of delivery/enquiry, to ensure full exposure ofHITACHI ENERGY’s product portfolio.
6. Working with SHEQsupport,lead the drive through our supply chain to fully embraceHITACHI ENERGY’s SHEQ initiatives in particular hazard identification and removal andappropriate behaviours
Your background
7. Proven experience in a related position within the energy transition industry and transformer knowledge is essential
8. Proven industry experience, working on project related to transformers and, or substations is essential
9. Member of working towards professional membership of an appropriate body e.g PMI, APM, IET
10. A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
11. Has proven knowledge of project management methodologies such as the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and standards set through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and PRINCE2 (or equivalents).
