A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Family Associate to join a busy team ranked Tier 2 for finance in the Legal 500, working with one of the most dynamic and fast‐growing family practices in the market. The team has an outstanding reputation, recently winning Family Law Team of the Year, and is consistently instructed by HNW and UHNW individuals, entrepreneurs, investment bankers, medical professionals, beneficiaries of complex trusts, and high‐profile clients across the arts, sports and entertainment sectors. As a Family Associate, you'll be exposed to some of the most interesting and challenging work in the market.
The role
As a Family Associate, you will be joining a busy team ranked Tier 2 for finance in the Legal 500 and Band 1 for finance in Chambers & Partners, supporting highly regarded Partners on a wide range of matters, including:
* Complex financial disputes involving HNW and UHNW individuals
* Divorce and civil partnership matters
* Private law children work, including relocation and abduction
* Pre‐ and post‐nuptial agreements
* Cohabitation and Schedule 1 claims
* Cross‐border disputes, forum issues and enforceability
* TOLATA claims and 1975 Act matters
* Private adoption and wider family law issues
You'll take responsibility for your own files under supervision, working alongside bright, sociable and ambitious colleagues who value collaboration, knowledge‐sharing and personal development.

* UK‐qualified solicitor with 3–6 PQE in family law
* Strong experience working with HNW and UHNW individuals
* Excellent technical ability and meticulous attention to detail
* Confident with client contact and relationship‐building
* Excellent academics
* A proactive, self‐starting approach
* Strong written work, research skills and case management
* Interest in business development and contributing to team growth
