An established and forward thinking building engineering consultancy is expanding its electrical engineering team across several offices in the South West. With continued project growth across a range of sectors, there are multiple opportunities available for professionals at various levels, from Engineer through to Senior Associate.

The Opportunity
Due to continued expansion, the business is looking to appoint Electrical Engineers at various levels across several South West offices. These roles offer the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and mixed use developments.
Successful candidates will join a collaborative team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists, contributing to projects ranging from complex large scale developments to technically challenging smaller schemes.
Depending on experience and level, responsibilities include:
* Delivering electrical building services designs as part of multidisciplinary project teams
* Developing early stage design strategies and technical solutions aligned with project requirements and regulatory standards
* Participating in client and design team meetings and supporting clear communication across project stakeholders
* Supporting the management of project budgets, resources, and technical outputs
* Contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships
* Mentoring and supporting junior engineers, graduates, and apprentices
* Providing technical leadership and guidance within the team (senior roles)
Candidate Profile
Candidates should demonstrate experience in electrical building services design or a closely related discipline within the built environment.
Key requirements include:
* Familiarity with modern design and collaboration tools such as BIM and Revit
* Experience using lighting and electrical design software such as Dialux, Relux, or similar platforms
* Ability to work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other consultants
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* Interest in supporting and developing junior team members
