Location: Dudley
Pay Rate:
£12.58 per hour (Morning/Afternoon shifts)
£13.58 per hour (Night shifts)
Contract: Temp to Perm
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (Monday to Friday):
6:00am - 2:00pm
2:00pm - 10:00pm
10:00pm - 6:00am
⚠️ Candidates must be able to work all three rotating shift patterns.
Key Responsibilities
Inspecting, sorting, and packaging finished steel tubes
Bundling and labelling products to meet customer specifications
Operating packing machinery including banding and wrapping equipment
Using overhead cranes to move finished goods safely
Carrying out quality checks on finished products
Recording production and packaging data accurately
Ensuring all products meet required standards before dispatch
Requirements
Previous experience in a steel industry
Overhead crane experience is essential
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work as part of a team
Good understanding of health & safety practices
Basic computer literacy
Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work rotating shifts
