Job Overview
Hours of work: Full time, 45 hours per week, worked flexibly across evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and peak trading periods. Hours may vary in line with business requirements.
Holiday entitlement: 28 days per year inclusive of bank holidays (pro rata for part years of service).
Probationary period: 3 months. During this period, employment may be terminated by either party with one week's notice.
Notice Period (Post-Probation): One calendar month.
Place of Work: Primarily based at King Carveries – Blackpool. You may be required to work at other venues within The Company as reasonably requested.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist the General Manager in the effective day-to-day running of the venue.
* Lead shifts and act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager.
* Supervise, motivate and support team members across all departments.
* Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, food hygiene and company policies.
* Support with staff recruitment, induction, training and performance management.
* Manage stock levels, ordering and cellar duties as required.
* Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest feedback effectively.
* Assist in achieving financial targets including sales, gross profit and labour costs.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.

* You are required to wear the agreed uniform and maintain a professional standard of appearance at all times.
* Employment is subject to the right to work in the UK and the provision of valid RTW documentation.
* This role involves keyholder responsibilities, including opening and closing the premises.
