Selby Jennings is working with a leading UK insurer to find a commercially minded Lead Pricing Analyst to join their Personal Lines Pricing team. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering pricing improvements across Motor and Home portfolios, with a strong emphasis on technical modelling, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking.
About the role:
* Leading the development and refinement of pricing models using Radar, Emblem, and advanced statistical techniques
* Collaborating with Underwriting, Finance, and Data Science teams to shape pricing strategy and deliver profitable growth
* Managing end-to-end pricing projects-from scoping and analysis to implementation and review
* Presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear commercial actions
* Mentoring junior analysts and contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Role requirements:
* Strong experience in personal lines pricing, ideally across both Motor and Home
* Proficiency in Radar, Emblem, and SQL; Python or R is a bonus
* Solid understanding of market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and commercial levers
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence across functions
* A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem solving and delivery
