What You'll Do
Lead the Bid Process
Manage the full bid lifecycle, including PQQs, RFPs, ITTs, and framework applications.
Act as Bid Lead on high-value opportunities, ensuring strategic alignment.
Coordinate complex subcontractor proposals and support collaborative bids.
Handle bid documentation, clarify requirements via portals, and ensure timely submissions.
Review pricing to align with company strategy and collaborate with teams to balance resources and priorities.
Shape Strategy
Develop and maintain bid strategies, governance documents, and process frameworks.
Analyse industry trends, competitor insights, and client feedback to strengthen bid approaches.
Use market engagement and debrief feedback to refine pursuit and win strategies.
Drive Insights
Build dashboards to track bid pipeline, win/loss ratios, and key trends.
Monitor data accuracy and update systems to support informed decision-making.
Report on resource utilisation to optimise planning and bid outcomes.
Manage Content
Curate a library of reusable content, case studies, and team CVs.
Contribute to communications about bids, opportunities, and contract wins.
Ensure Compliance
Lead applications to procurement frameworks, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
Keep company profiles and certifications updated to maintain framework eligibility.
Enhance Systems
Collaborate with the Strategic Development Manager to advance our Business Development function, aligned with PAS 360:2023.
Administer user accounts in our bid management system (MMIS), resolve data issues, and drive system improvements.
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
Experience in bid management or proposal coordination.
Strong understanding of procurement processes and framework applications.
Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid tools (e.g., SharePoint, MMIS, or CRM systems like (url removed)).
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves
APMP or similar certification.
Experience in Defence or public procurement.
Knowledge of commercial terms and the Public Procurement Act.
