Are you ready to take the next step in your career as a Senior Underwriter within specialist Real Estate Lending? Our client, a leading property lender, is seeking a talented individual to join their Lending & Portfolio team. This role involves linking developers with the finance and expertise they need, offering a chance to be part of a company redefining property finance.

Responsibilities:
* Manage the end-to-end lending process for property development loans.
* Conduct due diligence and apply commercial judgment.
* Prepare and present credit papers to the Investment Committee.
* Liaise with solicitors and stakeholders to facilitate loan completions.
* Assist Business Development Managers with loan structuring.
* Collaborate with Portfolio Managers for risk management.
* Manage valuations, legal reports, and documentation.
* Maintain accurate records on lending platforms and CRM.
* Contribute to process and control improvements.

Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in heavy refurb or ground-up development finance preferred.
* Underwriting experience in bridging or eagerness to learn.
* Strong credit risk and underwriting knowledge.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with organizational skills.
* Proficiency with CRM, lending platforms, and MS Office.
* Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance.
* Interest in process improvement is a plus.
