Real Estate Claims Handler – Casualty (Hybrid | Chelmsford | Up to £40,000)
We’re working on behalf of a leading name in the insurance sector that is expanding its team with the addition of a Real Estate Claims Handler
This is a permanent hybrid role, with a base in Chelmsford and flexibility to work from home part of the week. The salary is up to £40,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle UK and European Real Estate Casualty claims (primarily Public Liability: injury and third-party property damage)
* Full cradle-to-grave file handling, including setting reserves and determining liability
* Liaise with brokers, insurers, policyholders, and other stakeholders
* Produce formal reports and maintain accurate records
* Collaborate with adjusters and account managers across the UK and Europe
* Support with MI reporting, billing, and invoicing
Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience handling Casualty Claims (Public Liability)
* Comfortable working independently and within a team
* Familiar with UK claims protocols and ideally has experience managing client schemes
* Confident in technical claims handling and reporting
* European language skills are a bonus but not essential
