An exciting job opportunity has arisen in the Medical Photography Department at the Queen Victoria Hospital for a Band 5 Bank Medical Photographer. This will be a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their medical photography career in a busy, friendly department. We are looking for a versatile and enthusiastic clinical photographer to join our team on an ad‑hoc basis, covering long term sickness. You will help to provide a wide range of services to our Trust and external customers. These services include clinical and non‑clinical photography, graphics service, broadcast video recording and post production.
Clinical photography is undertaken on a daily basis in our medical photography studio and throughout the hospital in operating theatres, dressing clinics, minor injuries department, out patients, wards, maxillofacial unit, orthodontic department, corneoplastic unit and the burns unit.

Qualifications & Experience
Successful applicants will have a relevant Medical Photography qualification, be eligible for AHCS registration and have demonstrable experience within a Medical Photography department. We will also consider a trainee position for the right person who has a relevant photography qualification.
