Senior Red Team Operator
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Salary: Up to £95,000 (depending on experience) + bonus
A unique opportunity has opened up for a Senior Red Team Operator to join a cutting-edge cybersecurity team focused on conducting advanced adversarial threat emulation, ideal for experienced Red Team professionals with a deep background in offensive security.
You’ll be part of a strategic security function responsible for simulating sophisticated cyber and physical attacks, identifying weaknesses across technology, people, and processes, and supporting the continual evolution of a mature risk-aware organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
* Conducting full-scope Red Team operations across cyber, social, physical, and technical domains.
* Designing and executing realistic attack simulations to assess and improve detection and response capabilities.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to translate security findings into actionable insights and mitigation strategies.
* Leading or supporting the response and investigation of complex security incidents.
* Advising on emerging threats, offensive techniques, and security innovations.
* Participating in the development of policies, procedures, and training to enhance organisational resilience.
* Influencing technical strategy, controls, and risk posture at a senior level.
What We're Looking For
* 7+ years of hands-on experience in Red Teaming or offensive security roles.
* Deep technical knowledge of threat emulation techniques including Command and Control frameworks, post-exploitation tactics, EDR evasion, malware or exploit development.
* Proficiency in at least one offensive security-related area: Windows or Linux internals, Social Engineering, Initial Access, Physical Security, etc.
* Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of security risk assessment and governance frameworks.
Highly Desirable Skills
* Prior experience delivering Red Team engagements end-to-end.
* Programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, C#, PowerShell).
* Familiarity with Purple Team collaboration and detection engineering.
* Social engineering capability or experience running physical/red/purple team hybrid engagements.
