This role would suit someone patient, sociable, and reliable — who would enjoy working alongside a creative university student. A Bit About Me: I’m a creative writing and English literature student at UEA. I have mild cerebral palsy and mobility difficulties which have impacted my independence. I’m sociable and outgoing and enjoy reading, crochet, and baking. Location: Norwich NR5 Job Description: Support me in learning to budget my money and understand bills. Help me plan meals, shop for groceries, and cook safely. Encourage and assist me in becoming more confident with day-to-day activities. Any other reasonable duties as requested. Person specification Essential: The ideal candidate would require calming, reassuring, caring, and patience. The person I employ must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for my privacy. Will need to work around my university timetable from September onwards. Desirable: Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs. Shared interests would be a real bonus. Summary terms and conditions The pay rate for this position is £12.38 per hour for employed PAs and £14.94 per hour for self-employed PAs. Hours and times of work: 2 Hrs Per Week, Time discussed further at interview. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
