Senior QA Engineer – Fully Remote
Salary: £55,000 base + bonus
Location: Northwest based with one office visit per month
UK-based candidates only
This is a chance to be the first Senior QA Engineer hire in a growing financial SaaS business. If you want ownership and the opportunity to build QA properly from the ground up, this role is worth a look.
As Senior QA Engineer, you'll be working in a Manual QA role alongside a senior engineering team who test their own code. Your focus will be on edge cases, system behaviour, and real-world risk with the authority to block releases when needed.
The platform is built on .NET, GraphQL, React, and AWS, with frequent releases and a technical BA validating requirements.
What you'll do as Senior QA Engineer:
* Own manual testing end to end - Functional, exploratory, and regression testing
* API testing (REST / GraphQL)
* SQL-based data validation
* Close collaboration with developers

* Proven commercial QA experience with strong exploratory testing skills
* Comfortable being the sole QA and setting processes
* Experience with SQL databases and API testing
* Confident, self-sufficient approach
