Key Responsibilities
• Opening and locking the school site each day
• Carrying out general maintenance, repairs and basic DIY tasks
• Ensuring classrooms, corridors and communal areas are safe and presentable
• Monitoring heating, lighting, alarms and security systems
• Supporting cleaning teams and liaising with external contractors
• Maintaining outdoor areas including playgrounds and pathways
• Assisting with school events, lettings and emergency call-outs
• Ensuring health & safety and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
Experience & Qualifications
• Previous caretaking, site or facilities experience desirable
• Good practical skills across general maintenance and repairs

Salary
