We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Delivery Engineer to join our technical support team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of IT hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. You will also assist in imaging systems, hardware upgrades, and testing equipment before deployment.
This is a hands-on role based in our IT workshop with occasional on-site support responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair IT hardware including PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
* Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and installations.
* Image and configure desktops and laptops using standard deployment tools (e.g., MDT, SCCM).
* Carry out hardware testing and quality assurance before releasing repaired equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent using ticketing systems.
* Liaise with suppliers for warranty claims and part replacements.
* Ensure workshop cleanliness and safe handling of electronic components.
* Manage stock levels of spare parts and consumables.
* Support IT projects such as rollouts, refreshes, and asset recovery.
* Provide technical advice to junior staff or apprentices when needed.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of desktop/laptop hardware and Windows operating systems.
* Good fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
* Experience working with ticketing systems.
* Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
* Familiarity with networking equipment support and repairs.

* Standard working hours 8am – 5pm with possible overtime during peak periods
