£45,000 - £55,000/annum full bens
We’re currently working with two long standing clients, both respected main contractors, to recruit experienced Bid Writers. One opportunity is with a growing SME contractor specialising in high-quality new build and refurbishment projects across the public and private sectors; the other is with a larger, well-established contractor delivering projects up to £10m across a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, and heritage.
These are excellent permanent roles for candidates with experience producing quality bid submissions in the construction industry.
1x Bid Writer / Bid Manager - Nr Epping, Essex
Join a family-owned main contractor with a strong reputation for repeat business and sustainable construction. Based in the South East, they deliver projects under Traditional and D&B forms of contract across commercial, education, and public sector markets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and produce high-quality tender documents and bid responses
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather content
* Analyse PQQs and tender questions, producing well-structured, compliant submissions
* Contribute to bid planning and proposal strategy
* Maintain and improve bid library content and templates
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience within a contractor or construction consultancy
* Excellent written English and understanding of construction tendering
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and submissions
* IT proficient and ideally experienced with Adobe InDesign or similar
