Night Support Worker - Children\'s Homes
Join the Witherslack Group as a Night Support Worker in our Children\'s Homes. This role involves supporting young people through the night and helping them achieve positive outcomes in a safe, nurturing environment.
Salary: £29,449 - £32,496 base; Bonuses: £1,400 Attendance Allowance – assuming good attendance
Hours: Waking nights (4 on / 4 off)

Responsibilities
* Take care of the home and our young people through the night
* Be present when a young person wakes due to trauma, illness, upset or difficulty sleeping
* Build rapport and be a trusted person in time of need
* In quieter times, complete tasks around the home such as paperwork, cleaning and laundry
* Support each young person\'s needs, personality and potential to help guide them toward a positive future
What we look for

* Resilience to deal with challenging situations
* A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
* If you do not have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), we will pay for you to study and support you throughout
You\'ll start life as a NSO by joining our Care Academy – 4 weeks of off-the-job training with experienced WG professionals to help you feel confident and ready to support our young people.
