The Vacancy:
Purpose of the role
The Financial Accounting Team is responsible for the primary ledgers, fixed assets, financial controls, production and reconciliation of the balance sheet, cash flow, VAT/Tax compliance, statutory accounts production and other external reporting.
Duties and Responsibilties
* Deliver high quality and timely financial reporting with robust analysis and recommendations for improvement.
* Responsible for reporting of overheads in P&L and monthly overhead review meetings with department managers.
* Responsibility for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and ownership of Balance Sheet.
* Report all actual balances into corporate BPC system.
* Produce Monthly sales reporting for European sales team
* Manage Accounts Receivable team to ensure DSO targets are hit and bad debt is minimised.
* Manage Accounts payable team to ensure invoice queries resolved in a timely manner and suppliers paid on time
* Manage UK Group cash pool and liase with corporate treasurer on cash strategies.
* Management of annual audit with Deloittes.
* Responsibility for Internal Controls and SOX controls along with the rest of the finance management team.
* Responsibility for VAT reporting
* Fixed Asset management and reporting
* Administration of online employee expenses system
* Help drive digital transformation projects to improve efficiency of finance team.
