Overview
The Team: Ward 5A at the Launceston General Hospital is a dynamic 32 bed surgical ward specialising in upper gastrointestinal, colorectal, urological and general surgeries. The 5A team prides itself in having a strong supportive culture and strives for high standards of care. Ward 5A is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of patients, clients and the Tasmanian community.
The Role: The Clinical Coach works collaboratively in assisting and supporting the Nurse Unit Manager fulfil the Clinical Coach portfolio, with active involvement in clinical education, clinical leadership and management; safety and quality; and practice development. The Clinical Coach will contribute to positive client outcomes by facilitating the competence and confidence of novice clinicians via clinical coaching.

Details of appointment: Multiple permanent part time, shift worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you would like to join our team.

Salary and Benefits
Salary: $99,455 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type

Eligibility
Required: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Desirable criteria:
* A minimum of three years’ experience within the setting
* Possess or working towards relevant postgraduate qualifications appropriate to clinical area
* Membership with the relevant professional organisation (e.g. Australian College of Nursing, ACM, ACORN, ACCCN)
