As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet both customer expectations and industry standards, while driving improvements across manufacturing processes. You'll work cross-functionally to solve quality challenges, lead audits, and embed best practices across the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and support PPAP activities for new product introductions
2. Promote and embed a 'Right First Time, Every Time' quality culture across the organisation and supply chain
3. Investigate internal and customer quality issues using structured methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and FMEA
4. Identify root causes and implement robust corrective and preventative actions
5. Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards
6. Maintain and manage quality documentation including process flows, control plans, and risk assessments
7. Deliver training and support to production teams on quality tools and process controls
