Our client, based in South Cambridge, is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join their team, providing support to their executive team members. The Executive Assistant will be instrumental in enabling the executives to focus on strategic priorities by managing operational and administrative responsibilities with precision. The Executive Assistant will need to have outstanding organisational skills, discretion, and will operate with confidence and professionalism in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. This is a full time, permanent, office-based role. Responsibilities will include: Executive Support: * Complex diary management, travel coordination, and meeting logistics. * Preparing briefing materials, presentations, and reports for internal and external engagements. * Handling confidential communications and correspondence with utmost discretion. * Acting as a key point of contact for the CEO, COO, CFO & CSIO, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders. Governance & Strategic Coordination * Supporting and coordinating Board and Executive Leadership Team meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation, logistics, and minute-taking. * Tracking and following up on strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities. * Assisting in the preparation of high-level presentations, reports and strategic documents for governance and external audiences. * Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and expense reporting in line with organisational policies. * Supporting the CEO’s office in ensuring compliance with internal governance and operational standards. To be successful in this role, candidates will need to have the following skills and experience: * A degree (or equivalent qualification) or significant professional experience that demonstrates your ability to excel in a demanding executive support role. * Proven experience in a senior Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff support role, ideally within a scientific, innovation, or research-led organisation. * A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint). * A demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and priorities with discretion and efficiency. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail. * Excellent organisational skills and time management
