We’re looking for a commercially minded and strategically driven Marketing Business Partner to act as the senior marketing lead for our Heads of Practice and Business Development team. This role will be responsible for developing and managing tailored marketing plans for each practice area and our B2B partners, translating business challenges into marketing solutions, and ensuring alignment between marketing delivery and business objectives. Reporting directly to the CMO, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders across the firm, coordinating their requirements across the wider marketing team and ensuring clarity on what activity is being delivered, when, and how it’s performing. Key Responsibilities Practice & Business Development Leadership Build strong relationships with Heads of Practice and Business Development leads, acting as their senior marketing contact and advisor. Lead the development of tailored marketing plans for each practice area, aligned to business goals and trading priorities. Facilitate regular check-ins to discuss challenges, opportunities, and new briefs that marketing can support. Ensure marketing is embedded in business development conversations and supports B2B partnerships with a marketing lens. Strategic Planning & Coordination Translate stakeholder needs into actionable briefs for the wider marketing team. Coordinate cross-functional delivery, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and outputs are clearly communicated and tracked. Maintain visibility of all marketing activity across practice areas and business development initiatives, ensuring alignment with firm-wide strategy. Performance & Reporting Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of marketing initiatives, performance, ROI, and key metrics. Work with the Marketing team to deliver regular reporting and insights that inform future planning. Use data to guide decision-making and demonstrate the value of marketing to the business. Stakeholder Engagement Act as the conduit between the business and marketing, ensuring mutual understanding and collaboration. Manage expectations and ensure marketing activity is scoped, prioritised, and resourced effectively. Champion marketing within the business, advocating for its role in driving growth and solving commercial challenges. Team Collaboration Work closely with the CMO and senior marketing leads to ensure strategic alignment and resource planning. Contribute to marketing team meetings, planning cycles, and performance reviews. Support continuous improvement in marketing processes, communication, and delivery. What are we looking for? Proven experience in a senior marketing role with strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills. Experience working in or with professional services, ideally within a law firm or Financial Services. B2B environment is a bonus. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong commercial acumen and ability to link marketing activity to business outcomes. Highly organised, with strong project management and coordination capabilities. Comfortable working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities. Insight-driven, with a passion for delivering measurable impact.
